Why Partner with IFSA?

You need access to bright, motivated students from leading universities with excellent tech programs to advance projects and fill your talent pipeline. We have those students. And when you invite those students to your Prague workplace to gain professional experience, there’s a lot for everyone to gain.
1. Get fresh approaches to challenges.
Work with bright students in top tech programs.
“I’m amazed by the students’ technical knowledge and their ability to work independently,” noted founder Martin Tušl of ClimaMonitor, which creates educational platforms that help students learn about climate change.
“Students were prepared and proactive—and they asked a lot of questions,” said Peter Schlegel, founder of Stronghold Systems.
“I’m lucky to have you all. Your dedication and effort to helping grow Pinted mean so much. Thank you for giving me your best!”
—Sven Mitt, founder of Pinted.io
2. Make progress on initiatives and projects.
From back-end development to data testing, IFSA students bring solid technical knowledge and new thinking as interns and challenge project participants. Here are few examples of what students have accomplished for companies that span e-commerce, education, finance, hospitality, health care, and tech:
- Designed a matching feature for a networking app to boost engagement and value
- Created an AI/machine learning strategy to have a clear framework for future products and services
- Evaluated options to leverage AI to boost a tool that improves data-testing quality to enhance product capabilities
- Developed a new version of a web-based geospatial platform that accesses NASA/ESA observation data
- Designed a web-based chat user interface for an educational platform focused on climate change
- Developed a web-based digital literacy test to match patients to appropriate healthcare software tools to improve accessibility and usability
Two groups of students recently tackled projects for Data Tools s.r.o., a Prague-based company that makes CAT tool stacks for analysts, engineers, and others who work with data. One group evaluated how AI could boost CAT’s capabilities. The second analyzed telemetry data generated by these tools to better understand user experiences.
Working with CAT team members, students learn to think about customer needs, validate ideas, explore AI applications, and use research to deliver business value. “This cooperation gives them space to think strategically, work in a real environment, and move beyond theory. And that’s exactly why we’re excited to see where their ideas lead,” shared the CAT team in a LinkedIn post.
3. Gain reliable partners.
Students have ongoing support and mentoring from the IFSA team in Prague, so you can be confident we’ll keep your needs at the forefront.
“Having a mentor from IFSA on the project makes the collaboration much more productive. The processes on the IFSA side are well structured—crucial for short-term projects where students need to learn many things quickly.”
—Martin Tušl, a founder who sponsored a Career Accelerator challenge project
Known for academic excellence and dedication to intercultural learning, IFSA has delivered quality international programs to students all over the world since 1988. In spring 2023, we launched IFSA Tech Career Accelerator to bridge the gap in soft skills, practical application of technical content knowledge, and professional experience that thwarts employers looking for early-career hires.
4. Boost your image as a responsible corporate citizen.
Whether you host an intern, challenge project, or workshop, or join us as a guest speaker, working with IFSA provides a simple, repeatable way to do good by supporting young people and driving economic opportunity.
